This film was produced by the Leh Nutrition Project on the harmful effects of excessive use of mobile phones among the children with the financial support of Netwest Foundation (formerly known as RBS). It was launched on 8th March 2023 on the eve of International women’s day by the Chief Representative Officer, Sinamling, Leh. We are going to use this film to raise awareness among the general public, especially children. The film is scripted and directed by Padma Shri. Morup Namgyal, and we acknowledge and appreciate his contribution in making of this film. LNP is a voluntary development organisation in Ladakh, and we have been working on various development themes for more than 40 years. Promoting child rights is one of our priorities, and we dedicate this film to the children of Ladakh. We also believe that the community, particularly Panchayat/Nambardhar institutions and Tsogpas, have a greater role and responsibility to create a protective and enabling environment in our society for children.
