We envision this centre, where people will be able to come, learn and share about the different initiatives in Ladakh. The idea is also to share the information, and AV documentation that LNP has collected so far. We hope that researchers and experts working in Ladakh, will be able to benefit from it. Also, since LNP focuses on sustainability, we are in the process of designing the centre with local and trying for as many recycled or sustainable materials.

Stories from the field is book drawing tales and experiences from the former and present staff of LNP and their pursuit of sustainability. These voices talk about the first attempt to work with communities, to reaching out to them on horsebacks and foot journeys for days on end. With anecdotes traversing different regions of Ladakh, this book is about a changing landscape of Ladakh through the various project and different team members.
