Chotak Gyatso
Executive Director
Chotak Gyatso joined Leh Nutrition Project (LNP) in 1986 as a pharmacist, focusing on health projects in Ladakh. His work extended to remote villages, Implementing LNP’s initiatives in health, education, and rural development Recognized for his dedication, Gyatso rose through the ranks and has been a senior executive since 1996. His focus on child rights and education in Ladakh has been notable. In 2022, Gyatso was appointed as the Executive Director of LNP, a testament to his years of service and impactful contributions. His leadership continues to shape the organization’s mission, quietly making a significant difference in the lives of Ladakh communities.

Lotus Gyaltsan
Project Coordinator
Mr. Lotus is an enthusiastic Social Worker with expertise in livelihood and social entrepreneurship, who works effectively with the communities, individuals, and entrepreneurs. Developing and supporting the enhancement and diversification of the livelihood opportunities and social welfare of the people. He has completed his Masters in Social Work with expertise in Livelihood and social entrepreneurship from TISS, Mumbai. He has also worked with INHERE organization in Uttarakhand and has a wider expertise in social sector. He worked as a fulltime farmer for almost 4 years and developed a sustainable livelihood model from agriculture practices. He has also done a research on Local knowledge and climate variability: Study on farming households in Ladakh during his PG.

Nazir Ahmed
Project Coordinator
Nazir has been working with LNP since 1994. He joined the watershed team assisting Chhewang Norphel in 1996 on the award-wining Artifical Glaciers program. From 2012, he was leading the development of land-based economy and livelihoods of small scaled farmers in rural Ladakh and in later years worked on the under the passive solar house project. From 2017, he leading the the WASH project that is focuses on enhancing the well-being of children and communities in Tibetan Refugee settlements..

Ghulam Nabi
Account Officer
Nabi joined the organisation in the year 1990, as the secretary for the training section of LNP. He then moved towards admin section, where he now heads all admin and account related matters at the organisation. He has served the organisation for more than 3o years now.

Diskit C Angmo
Project Coordinator
Passionate ice hockey player and a dedicated advocate for social causes, blending with love for the sport with a commitment to making a positive impact off the ice. She is committed to constant growth, teamwork, and achieving excellence. Ms. Diskit channels her energy into philanthropic work through her involvement with Leh Nutrition Project as a Project Coordinator in EY STEM Program. She is dedicated to creating meaningful change in the lives of those who need it the most.

Tenzin Motup
Field Coordinator
Tenzin Motup is a professional with experience in event management, sustainability, tourism, and urban development. He has worked as a tour leader and served as director of White Copper Travel. He was also a photographer’s assistant for Olivier and Danielle Follmi. Tenzin contributed to projects with LEDeG for five years and worked with the Ladakh Tourist Police as resource person. He is a member of the UT Level Advisory Committee on plastic waste management. Fluent in five languages, he is skilled in communication and leadership. He now serves as Field Coordinator for the Sustainable Livelihood Program at Leh Nutrition Project, funded by Axis Bank Foundation.

Samreen Fatima
Accountant
A dedicated accounting professional with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from IGNOU. Over the past three years, she has gained diverse experience working in various companies, where she developed strong financial management, accounting, and analytical skills. Her experience spans across key accounting functions, including financial reporting, ledger management, payroll, taxation, and budget analysis.

Padma Ladol
MIS / Field Supervisor
Padma Ladol works as MIS/FS of Sustainable Livelihood Program. She looks after the work of SLP at the field level as well as manages and optimizes the organization’s information system. Ms. Ladaol did B. sc Agriculture from Dehradun and worked with ICICI FOUNDATION CSR for more than 2 years.

Stanzin Deldan Angmo
Field Supervisor
Ms. Stanzin joined LNP in the year 2023 and has been working under the project head EYF-WAL. She has completed her graduation in B. Sc agriculture from UTU dehradun. Her expertise in agriculture gives good input for the local community to overcome their agriculture challenges.

Stanzin Motup
Field Supervisor
Stanzin Mutup is working with LNP since 2017. He is involved in the WASH project, specifically looking at Sanitation and Hygience aspects with local communities. Stanzin has previously worked as a tourist guide in Ladakh. He completed his graduation in Bachelor in Arts from Chandigarh. Mutup is also the Vice-President of TCV Ladakhi Association.

Dechen Angmo
Field Supervisor
Dechen Angmo has been working in LNP since June 2024 as a field supervisor at SLP project. She has completed her bachelor in Arts from Jammu university. Mrs. Dechen has worked in SECMOL as a farm manager and as a teacher for 4 years. She did sustainable gardening course from International People’s College Denmark.

Thinlay Dorjai
Field Supervisor
Thinlay Dorjai works as Field Supervisor at the Sustainable Livelihood Project (LNP). Leveraging his expertise in entrepreneurship and a passion for social and environmental impact, He is dedicated to implement sustainable business solutions and strategic initiatives at the ground level. Mr. Thinly is also a co-founder of a social enterprise.
